The Unit Conversion feature allows visitors to convert ingredient quantities between US Customary and Metric units directly in your recipes. This feature is handy for international audiences and improves overall usability.
Unit Conversion is a premium feature, available only with the Professional or Business license.

When Unit Conversion is enabled:
All conversions are handled automatically using an integrated conversion API.
Unit Conversion is enabled per recipe from the Recipe Card block settings.
1. Open a post containing a Recipe Card.
2. Select the Recipe Card block.
3. In the right sidebar, open Unit Conversion System.
4. Enable the Display Conversion Unit System toggle.
5. Choose the primary unit system used when writing the recipe (US Customary or Metric).
The primary unit system is the one you use when entering ingredient amounts.
After enabling Unit Conversion, you can configure how each ingredient is converted.
6. Switch to the alternative unit system in the Recipe Card.
7. For each ingredient, choose the unit you want it converted to.
8. Repeat for all ingredients that should support conversion.
9. Save or update the recipe.
Note: Clicking on Convert All ingredients will automatically convert the default units to the alternative ones. Feel free to make manual adjustments to each ingredient if necessary.
The plugin will automatically calculate the correct converted amounts based on the primary unit system.
If you want Unit Conversion to be enabled by default in all new recipes, you can turn it on globally.
1. Go to Recipe Cards → Settings → General.
2. Open the Adjustable Servings tab and check the Enable Adjustable Servings field.
3. Save the settings by clicking Save Changes.
Once enabled, Unit Conversion will be active automatically in all newly created recipes.
Existing recipes may require opening and saving the recipe again to apply the setting.
