The Adjustable Servings feature allows visitors to change the number of servings in a recipe and automatically adjust ingredient quantities. This feature works with decimal values as well as fractions (for example: 1/2, 2/3, 3/4).
Adjustable Servings can be enabled per recipe or globally for all recipes.

When Adjustable Servings are enabled, and ingredient amounts are entered correctly, visitors can change the servings value and see the ingredient quantities update in real-time.
For the feature to work properly, ingredient amounts must be entered in the Amount field, not inside the ingredient name.
Use this method if you want to control Adjustable Servings on a per-recipe basis.
1. Open a post containing a Recipe Card.
2. Select the Recipe Card block.
3. In the right sidebar, open Cooking Details.

4. Enable the Adjustable Servings option.
5. Save or update the post.
Once enabled, visitors will be able to change the number of servings on the front end.
Note: In the block options, you can also set the adjustable servings style and the servings label, value, and unit.
For Adjustable Servings to work as expected, ingredient quantities must be entered correctly.

Correct formatting ensures ingredient quantities update accurately when servings are changed.
If you want Adjustable Servings enabled by default for all recipes:
1. Go to Recipe Cards โ Settings โ General.
2. Open the Adjustable Servings tab and check the Enable Adjustable Servings field.
3. Save the settings by clicking Save Changes.

This option applies the feature automatically to all new recipes.
After upgrading from the free version to the PRO version, Adjustable Servings may not work in existing recipes. Youโll need to update ingredient formatting in those recipes.
1. Open an existing recipe.
2. Click the Bulk Add button at the top of the recipe card.
3. In the pop-up, click Bulk Add again.
4. Save or update the recipe.
This process transfers ingredient amounts into the correct fields, ensuring the Adjustable Servings function properly.
